The idea of this work came to me by watching a luthier work on a woodturning lathe. The hidden face finding in the spinning form is known, but I thought to make it ironic. I ran back to take the pictures of my past lovers and I drew their profiles. The ten figures obtained recalls the phallic shape of the sex toy, and the title My God, is a word game with reference to the French godemichet, object of pleasure, and highlights the intensity of the kind of sensation that this object provides.
