Future Dream

 Digital print and acrylic paint on paper. 42 x 60 cm + 21 x 31 cm. 2016.

Clothes have always fascinated me. I made a lot of drawings during many years but when I was invited to participate in n°13 of BAU art/box, I didn’t find anything satisfying within all. I wanted something new, so my idea turned to an artistic analysis inspired by the clothing labels, where symbols tell us how to wash, iron and care of our clothes. They then became the starting point for the creation of a universal sign language, projected into the future, into a society where things would be defined more visually than in writing. Finally to ironically anticipate a bit more I chose to translate them into Arabic, English and Chinese to focus on the idea and concrete facts of a future dominated by these three cultures.
