I custodi del sapere
This work was born in the context of a residency in which I participated, spending time in the rooms of the Cassero of the Poggio Imperiale Fortress, Poggibonsi, FI. Italy
Five gold-leaf puppets representing the five people I met during the residency days. Each of them has a vase placed instead of a head: an archaeological find, like those found in the excavations of the ancient city of Poggiobonizio, but also containers of knowledge. These figures, suspended, project their shadows on the wall, as if to tell the spectator something.
