Dream Up

I created Dream Up during an European project involving artist from Prato and Palermo and the textile factory Trafi from Prato.
The work is the translation of a futuristic vision, linked to a previous work entitled Future Dream through which I imagined a reading of daily life, and more specifically of clothes, through symbols in an ever more accelerated society.
The embroidered sentence "Here the future is hiding" condenses in itself the idea of a possible future, in which humankind would tend towards the need to communicate outside the official network creating new communication systems.
I am interested in imagining in this case, the fabric as the bearer of new signs of union between people.
